Sorry U worriers . Some things work and no point in being woke and wooried about everything

 Worry yourself silly about the use of nuclear power, the end of the world and the fact that , if you knew any real ecoscience you would realize that the end of fossil fuels and a little global warming is not death for all as future fuels will probably come from algae. 
Your idea is your choice after all.  yes there is greed and its killing us ,but don't get confused -- thats another matter !

Let me remind you that there was a time when we listened to each other; when we respected years of mentored study and training. That's true respect for science that I and you can respect.
Please do not quote me or some meddling or muddied water modeller ( thats irresponsible !) , Shut off the speculation , wannabe heard noise and misanthropy and let us all be sound listeners and scientists ourselves  http://misplacedconcreteness.blogspot.com. Those who can't find anything better to do than carelessly blow holes in our ships need to go below and ask why very well educated people are happy to sleep night after night next to a modern nuclear reactor. 

Finally then we might have some chance of getting out of our imposed prisons of fear and come up for air .

The power is not in groups, but in individuals

 Post moderns have swallowed the very old idea that "raw power to rule is everything"   ,
What else explains the ABCTV's  quite racist  idea of representation and their skewed view of presenting the same old's with a same  old stories on their panels ?
and also ......what in the world makes ABC producers think people are listening? do they think they have the power to command our attention or are afraid of losing it and are pushing back? 

In the 3D world beyond the flat earthers ( something which they can't see) we see another set of laws operating. The faith that makes a real world democracy ( not an accountants one ) work  is not obvious  to these people .Its individual  voices not their badge, that has the cutting power in conversation . 
Whatever you may think of Sky TV news,  they at least let a  wider range of people speak .ABC have the badge of independence BUT are they true to it ? ....Are losing it -- my answer is yes and they have been losing it for decades.  
No... you don't need a group to always represent you to win , you need free speech and the blessing of the truth that sets us free .

What doesn't work in a technological society gets thrown out .

Our democracy and that of the USA and other western powers is not working. Our parliament in AUSTRALIA NEVER talks about reforming the electoral system so it has some hope of rescuing the country from the domination of the keptocracy. Restoring some power to the productive and away from the dependants and the idealizers etc   
 .What a disgrace our parliaments are in the face of threats from the tyrannical and such groups .

Democracy in the west is at great risk of being thrown out 
So we need to watch out for the tyrant - here's a few clues 

Tyrants of the past ( see "How to become a Tyrant "on Netflix) used to need to control information flow , but the clever ones of today ( like Stalin did) quote scientists who are perceived ,by far too many, to know everything . Provided you know a scientist who think he knows everything, those who run their own favourite solutions to world problems ( like running all problems down to zero ) look OK standing beside them .

Another modern reality is that most of our people don't have to face risk decisions enough to know that there is  always a risk and always a need for cost benefiting that risk . Imagine Premiers having such meetings.  

Cost benefit is too hard a subject for these incompetent attention getters with Victoria , Qld and WA  running with the worry warriors for years . http://fearmongers.blogspot.com

Compounding all this is the absolute fact that post modern wannabes , not only DO NOT hold to a cost benefit philosophy, but blatantly grab hold of and abuse the surgeons tool of the precautionary principle to justify going in as hard as they like to justify what ever they like ( deaths , disaster)   

The deep threat from the keptocracy

 Having been a public service risk assessor ( fire landslides flood and resilience limits ) you soon learn that our you don't go looking for advice on the real world from academics and the largely unqualified who spend their lives in high or remote places .

To make matters worse , the world's fascination is not now with real education and learning the limits but with naming very limited solutions . ( Great problem now with the net )

The problem of tyranny ( "How to become a tyrant" Netflix ) can involve as few as just two incompetent people . And it can happen in a democracy run by a keptocracy.

The poor judgement of the one who appoints and the very poor judgement of the one who allows themselves to be appointed.
