There never was a motherhood statement like it

 

And the whole Parliament ( both houses) stood up to give Ursula a standing ovation. 
Will we ever see the left so overjoyed again ? In this our moment of real energy crisis to hear her (and our PM)  talking of consensus amongst the nations? 
I don't know why it is that I should be so privileged to witness such a watershed moment.



After all 
The case for worrying about the weather has never been weaker.  ( WWW -my term for the wild weather worry warriors )  Ursula ( Leader of the European Commission) used up her time to try and prop up the old weather worriers and made a commitment to their latest storm concerns by talking to recent weather events she knew of.   

These weather worriers are in for a big shock because after losing the battle to make the issue a warming one over  10 years ago, they  are still banging on about wild storms  ( that thing they went on from serious AGW to call Climate Change),
Worse by a mile ,Ursula  smiled as she used that soon to be dropped bombshell word decarbonization .

Could any recent emperor wear such transparent gold cloth as Ursula did yesterday?  

Chorists of doom and gloom and a new hope in smiles and handshakes will be disappointed  , It's too late because after another 10 years of unconvincing  argy bargy, long suffering Aussies  still have not heard of a weather event big enough or scary enough to convince them that all this calling carbon dioxide evil is worth the huge cost of doing so. Fanatics,  as all students of them know,  are slow to see their exaggerated and empty claims and efforts to try and prove they are right 

The Climate change council tried to make a big deal about summer events on the Victorian South West coast this summer.  The emotive fear words and the limp excuses presented by the weary trench  warriors in the Colac Herald suggested  to me and to many real world weather observers that the WWW were running out of ammunition -  The trenches' were firing birdshot when they needed a bomb or two to justify the fanatical rhetoric of 'whiplash ".  
Every leaf on the planet has been saying thank you for more carbon dioxide and soon the rest of the world will get back to real reasons and ways to conserve and use oil-- instead of demonizing it .  




Will I ever give up resisting such clear demonstrations of agreement ? 
No.  Our technological society ( Ellul) will eventually throw out what doesn't work and calling carbon dioxide evil is a waste filled dogma that doesn't work. It use is wrong , highly distracting,  unnecessary to proper energy planning, and must eventually be ditched; trying to follow its demands has been costing the earth.
